The forward of “Liverpool” and the Egyptian national team Mohamed Salah reacted to the news about the death of his team’s winger Diogo Jota. It became known the day before that the footballer and his brother died in a car accident in Spain. Jota was 28 years old.

“I simply have no words. Until yesterday, I couldn’t imagine that something would make me fear returning to Liverpool. Players come and go, but this shouldn’t happen. It will be very hard to accept that Diogo is not around when we return. My thoughts are with his wife, his children, and, of course, his parents, who immediately lost two of their children. Diogo’s close ones and his brother Andre need all kinds of support. They will never be forgotten,” wrote Salah on the social network X.
